{"id":1789,"date":"2023-11-13T08:00:48","date_gmt":"2023-11-13T07:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.valedopartners.com\/?p=1789"},"modified":"2024-05-21T10:53:54","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T08:53:54","slug":"valedo-divests-its-ownership-in-joe-the-juice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.valedopartners.com\/en\/valedo-divests-its-ownership-in-joe-the-juice\/","title":{"rendered":"VALEDO DIVESTS ITS OWNERSHIP IN JOE &#038; THE JUICE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Valedo Partners Fund II AB and Valedo Partners III AB (together \u201cValedo\u201d) have reached an agreement to divest its ownership in Joe &amp; the Juice Holding A\/S (\u201cJ&amp;TJ\u201d) to the existing shareholder General Atlantic.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>During Valedo\u2019s ownership, J&amp;TJ has expanded internationally across Europe, the UK, the US and Middle East and grown its store network from 50 to 350 units and revenues have grown by +15x from DKK ~150 million to DKK ~2,3bn.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cJoe &amp; the Juice\u2019s development post the pandemic has been tremendously positive and I want to thank our juicers, other staff members, board and owners for their commitment and hard work over the last few years. With this transaction, I am pleased to welcome an existing shareholder in General Atlantic, that has a deep understanding of our strategy and unique company culture, as our new majority shareholder,\u201d <\/em>says Thomas Noroxe, CEO of Joe &amp; the Juice.<\/p>\n<p>In this transaction, Citigroup Global Markets acted as Valedo\u2019s financial advisor and Moalem Weitemeyer and White &amp; Case acted as Valedo\u2019s legal advisors.<\/p>\n<p>The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
