Valedo divests Becksöndergaard

Valedo Partners Fund II AB “(Valedo”) has divested BeckSöndergaard, a Danish women’s accessory company to a consortium led by the Company’s founders Lis Beck and Anna Søndergaard. During Valedo’s ownership, BeckSöndergaard has significantly broadened its product range, grown its international share of sales and focused increasingly on the online segment.

“I want to thank Valedo for its support over the last nine years and welcome our founders Lis, Anna and their consortium as returning majority owners. The onset of Covid in the spring of 2020 clearly challenged our company and the whole apparel industry in many aspects. However, we quickly adapted BeckSöndergaard to the new market conditions, and I am now very enthusiastic about 2022 and beyond”,  says Nanna Cotta-Schönberg, CEO for BeckSöndergaard.

The terms and conditions of the transaction are not disclosed.
