Valedo invests in Aditro Logistics

Valedo has reached an agreement to acquire Aditro Logistics, a leading Nordic carrier-independent third party logistics supplier. The investment is made in partnership with the management team and board of Aditro Logistics. With Valedo as new majority owner, Aditro Logistics will be given additional resources to drive growth and expand the service offering.

Aditro Logistics offers carrier-independent third party logistics services within e.g. warehouse storage, handling, value added services and distribution within both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer. Aditro Logistics operates in Sweden, Norway and Finland with a total of approx. 150 000 square meters of warehouse space divided between six logistics centers. Aditro Logistics has a solid customer base with well known brands within e.g. retail and consumer goods. By combining carrier-independence together with profound logistics expertise, Aditro Logistics can offer its customers customised solutions of high quality in Aditro Logistics’ own warehouses or directly at the customers’ own sites (“branch concept”). Aditro Logistics has demonstrated solid organic growth and currently generates revenue of SEK ~400 million with approx. 300 employees in Borås, Jönköping, Kopstad (Norway), Turku (Finland) and branches in Skillingaryd and Finnerödja.

Aditro Logistics is acquired from the outsourcing services company Aditro which is focused on HR-, payroll- and financial administration services.

”Aditro Logistics are facing significant growth opportunities and the overall market for third party logistics continue to grow. The market growth is partly driven by increased outsourcing as companies strive to increase performance and lower costs and partly by increasing e-commerce. Aditro Logistics, as one of the leading carrier-independent service providers, has great opportunities to expand with new customers across the Nordics as well as new services to current customers. We look forward to continue develop the company together with Valedo, offering additional support to further accelerate our growth phase, says Matthias Kettelhoit, CEO of Aditro Logistics.

The management and board of Aditro Logistics will co-invest alongside Valedo. Jan Sjöqvist (chairman of Nobina and former board member of Green Cargo) and Jan Sundling (chairman of SJ and former CEO of Green Cargo) will be appointed as board members of Aditro Logistics. The board is expected to be complemented with members with relevant industrial expertise.

The transaction is subject to certain approvals and conditions and terms are not disclosed.
